Kakoli Mondal aka Yami Ripta, is an Indian model and social media influencer. She was born on 27 October 1998, in Kolkata, West Bengal. Her mother, Dipa Mondal is a homemaker. She completed her primary education at D.A.V Public school in Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand. Later, she completed her graduation from a private college. Since her childhood, Kakoli was fascinated towards the televison industry. She started with making comedy and dancing videos on apps like ‘Musically’ and ‘TikTok,’ and gained popularity. She also appeared in music albums like Beparwah’ and ‘Ankhiyo Se Goli Mare.’ She also worked in Bengali short films and web series. In 2020, she auditioned for the popular Indian show ‘Roadies’ on MTV in Kolkata and got selected for the further rounds.  Â
