Karthik is a cinematographer. He is based at Mumbai. He hails from Chennai. Karthik went to the Film and Television Institute of India in 2004. Since 2009, he is working as an independent cinematographer. He worked on various commercials, documentaries, cine plays and feature films. His family supported him; his father even gifted him a Zenit SLR Camera, which further increased his interest in photography. His passion led him to assist a BBC film based on King Cobras. His work includes ‘Aurangzeb (2013)’, ‘Side A Side B (2017)’, ‘Bombairiya’, ‘Dheet Patangey’, ‘Lahore Confidential’, ‘Hiccups and Hookups’, ‘Gardish me Taare (2017)’, ‘The Wife (2021)’, ‘Seavenger’s Daughter (2017)’.Â
