Aniruddha Barua

Aniruddha Barua is a Cinematographer born and raised in Jorhat, Assam, and resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His mother is Meghali Barua, and his sister is Riddhi Barua Riddhi Barua is a Bengali lyricist based in Mumbai >> Read More... . His father used to be a painter and bonsai artist, and his mother used to be a classical and Bihu dance performer. He went to study at Balya Bhavan in 2004. He went to the Government College of Arts and Crafts, Guwahati, for his graduation in printmaking. He is also the Founder of Bapukon Films, an Assam-based production house, under which he shot two short films and four music videos.

He is the Director, Screenplay writer, Producer, and Cinematographer of Ratnadaah, a short film based on a short story by the late Dr Bhabendra Nath Saikia, screened at the Jaipur International Film Festival 2021 and the 2020 International Film Festival of Shimla.
