Adri Thakur

Adri Thakur from Ranchi Jharkhand is a well-established cinematographer in the Bollywood industry. He went to DAV JVM Shyamli school and did his graduation from Marathwada Mitra Mandal's College of Commerce. He then joined the Film and Television Institute of India, where he studied cinematography. He was brought up in an environment filled with art and music, and these were an integral part of his childhood which inspired him to be a part of it. His diploma course in photography made him explore this field of interest. He is an expert in what he does, and some of his renowned work pieces that got international recognition are Ask the Sexpert, Made in India, and My Kashmir. These documentaries have reached the height of fame.

Then he started working at Turner Broadcasting, a media company and contributed his best. Later he joined Pure Concepts TVC, where he worked as the sole proprietor along with Utsav Bandhopadhya. His career caught a big break when he got a job at Yash Raj Films as an assistant cinematographer. His works there have continued to amaze the audience, and he gained several fans along the way. He worked in many big films, most of which were a hit.

In 2016 he worked in the camera and electrical department in Shah Rukh Khan's film Fan. Thousands appreciated his work in this film, and he had the chance to work with the Badshah of Bollywood. Again, in 2019, he did the cinematography job in Amitabh Bachchan's film Badla. He also has a great interest in photography and excels at it. He refers to himself as a cinematographer by profession and photographer by mood. He has clicked several modeling photographs of celebrities and captures nature at its best. His passion and talent have brought him a long way, and he has a lot to achieve in the future.
