Padam Mishra

Padamnath Mishra, also known as Padam Mishra, is a versatile person who has been active in the Acting industry for the past many years. He is a Casting Director basically but is also known for his work as an Actor, a Second Unit Director or Assistant Director, Acting Workshop Director and Actor Trainer. He has also worked as a Casting Assistant and Casting Associate in various movies. Padam Mishra was born on the 12th of August 1984 in New Delhi, India. He started his career as a child actor in 1998 (worked from 1998 to 2002) in Theatre Play, National School of Drama (NSD) (TIE).

He graduated from Delhi University, worked at JNU as an actor, and holds an Acting Certificate from the National School of Drama and TIE. He has also worked as a Theatre Expert in the National School of Drama for seven years. He holds experience in acting and teaching for a company known as Theatre in Education (TIE), which is associated with the National School of Drama. Padam Mishra also worked with the Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA). Padam Mishra started his journey in Bollywood as Casting Assistant in 2007 with Amal.

He has a diverse filmography. In 2010 he worked in the movie Soul of Sand as Casting Associate and Assistant Director (Second Unit Director). Since then, there has been no looking back. He has worked with some of the biggest banners of the industry and has been part of films that became superhits. He has been the Casting Assistant for movies like Bubblegum(2011), Mausam(2011), Shanghai(2012), Chittagong(2012), Kismet Love Paisa Dilli(2012), Matru ki Bijlee ka Mandola(2013), Rangrezz(2013), Ek Thi Daayan(2013), Fukrey(2013), Lootera(2013), Bhaag Milkha Bhaag(2013), Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara(2013), Dedh Ishqiya(2104), The Xpose(2014), Queen(2014), Nanak Shah Fakir(2015), Raees(2017) and, Shuddhi(2018).

He has worked as a Casting Associate in the movies like Kuku Mathur ki Jhand Hogayi(2014), Titli(2014), Margarita with a Straw(2015), Detective Byomkesh Bakshy(2015), Phantom(2015) and, Talvar(2015). His movies as a Casting Director include hits like Pairon Talle(2011), B.A. Pass (2012), Wedding Pullav(2015), Robinhood Ke Pote(2016), Maunn(Short Film)(2018) and Falsafa(2019). Maunn was selected for various film festivals like Los Angeles, London, and Chicago. Padam Mishra has also acted in movies like B.A. Pass(2012), Matru ki Bijlee ka Mandola(2013), Kaun Kitne Paani Mein(2105), and Falsafa(2019).

He has also acted in the Amazon Prime Videos web series Mirzapur(2018) and was also associated with another Amazon Prime drama Afsos(2020).
