Kharabela Mohapatra is a Freelance Film Director, Assistant Director, Actor and Editor in the Bollywood film industry. He was born and brought up in Bolangir, Orissa, India. He completed his studies at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavans A.H Wadia High School. He is also a graduate of arts from Mithibai College of Arts. He started his career as an assistant director in Madras talkies and did movies like Raavan and Raavanan (2008-2010). He then worked as an Assistant Director at Nomad Films for four months and did a movie named Delhi in a Day (2011).
After that, he worked for dharma productions and did the famous movie Agneepath (2012). He was a partner and director of karmic pictures. From 2018 to 2022, he worked for the most renowned YRF- Yash Raj Films and contributed to the feature film Shamshera (2022). Then he started working as a freelance director. He also did the role of a supporting actor in the movie Halo released in the year 1996.
