Kavish Sinha

Kavish Sinha works in the Bollywood Indian film industry as a Casting Director and owns his firm, “ON-MY- KAYROLL,” in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is omnipresent on all of the social media platforms, hobbies, like photography, wine tasting, etc. are his passing time essentials. He is a grammarian with knowledge of a-lot Indian and International languages like Hindi, English, French, and Spanish.

Kavish completed his graduation from Amity University, in BJMC, he was actively part of debate clubs, and was the Literary Club President, later for post-graduation he opted for, “Wine and Spirit Educational Trust,” to gain PG Diploma in, Wine Making and Tasting.

He is also a PG Diploma holder in “Intellectual Property Rights Law” from the National Law School of India University. Apart from being educated and qualified, Kavish is the certificate holder for Proficiency in Spanish (Basic), from Instituto Hispania, Proficiency in French, from Amity University, MS Office Automation and Designing, and Graphic Designing. He passed the IELTS and TOEFL examinations with the highest scores. In January 2008, he worked as a Brand Trainee for JWT, in Gurgaon, India.

Sinha learned essentials of multimedia advertising, worked on NOKIA and coordinated with different clients on national campaigns the advertisements included the Nokia-IPL Kolkata Knight Riders team, owned by the Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan. The experience from the company helped in learning the ways to negotiate with the third-party vendors on behalf of the agency, which assured the best price, and quality of specific jobs. The training was for four months, later he joined the agency, “Ogilvy & Mather,” in Mumbai, Maharashtra, as an Accountant Executive in May 2009.

Kavish handled over 23 advertising giant circles across India for the telephone brand, VODAFONE; managed 360 award winning campaigns with the best exposure in Integrated Marketing Strategies; worked for the “VODAFONE ZooZoos,” advertising campaign during the Indian Premier League; charged of release, and approving creatives which was developed by locals in different states of India. He was the Senior Accountant Executive at the company, “Grey Worldwide,” which he joined in August 2009 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Sinha handled advertising of German Banks, “DEUTSCHE BANK,” and “CONDE NAST,” in India. He has the responsibilities of making new ideas, and strategies with market objectives, and creative brief for each campaign, knowledge about various Industry trends in banking, and fashion sector. The exposure was for a year and three months. Equus Red Cell hired Sinha as the Head for Client Services, and the Associate Account Director in November 2010, for a year, and four months. He was in charge of making ideas and strategies in line with the market objectives of the client and developing creative communication.

Kavish was the head of Account Team Management and manages advertising and media for, TAJ GROUP OF HOTELS, India, and DEUTSCHE BANK, along with the team a six member team in the Mumbai branch. In February 2012, Kavish started working as an Associate Planning Director at JWT. He handled accounts for JWT Mumbai’s biggest clients- KELLOGG’S, BHARTI AIRTEL, BIRLA SUNLIFE INSURANCE & MUTUAL FUNDS, THOMAS COOK, and BALAJI MOTION PICTURES, to plan, and strategize, conducted market, and consumer research on many brands, which gave valuable insights on consumer perception of the brand.

He experienced various new business pitch presentations and gained more views on variant categories. He was the Vice President in Marketing and Business Development at Plobal in April 2013 to February 2014. The Creative headed the marketing and business development across India for Plobal - India’s first social discovery platform. He worked in different advertising, PR, and design agencies to launch, and create the new brand identity, the brand custodian to launch Plabol in India, and constructed an entirely new brand for a pathbreaking revolution in social media life.

After personal experiences and working in the various advertising market strategies, Kavish moved forward and worked, as an Assistant Casting Director in Yash Raj Films in May 2014 for a year and eight months. Kavish Sinha is right now the Owner and Casting Director, at, “On-My-Kayroll” which started in January 2016. Many Bollywood aspirants come and get the chance to work in the industry due to the Casting Director. The company has been serving the cinema for four years and five months.

He is known for the Indian movies, and Television projects like, “Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass (2019), “The Office (2019),” “Fan (2016),” “Hasmukh (2020),” “Pawan&Pooja (2020),” “Out Of Love (2019),” “The Good Karma (2019),” “Buddies in India (2017), etc. The projects have been appreciated by the audience and received tremendous love. Kavish Sinha states that Casting was never planned and it was his friend, the famous Casting Director of YRF movies, Shanoo Sharma, whom he assisted, and finally decided to become a Casting Director.

The most difficult casting he ever did was for the Television series, “Chakravyuh,” the casting was completely different than for a movie. Other factors challenged him enough, and he still gave his best shot for the series’ cast. Kavish is a fabulous Casting Director who looks for the roles in his projects with the perception of the audience, his judgemental and observational skills makes him the perfectionist. The only tip for the aspiring actors from him is to train, and just train, until you become perfect.
