Neelesh Vaidya

Neelesh Vaidya works for D.N.E.G. as a Senior Animator. Neelesh Vaidya was born on November 11, 1972. He is currently based in Thane, Maharashtra. Nilesh Vaidya is renowned for his work on Jakers! (2017) and The Different Ways of Suicide (2017). Piggley Winks' Adventures is a children's book that follows the adventures of Piggley Winks (2003). He is a seasoned animation professional with a track record of achievement spanning nearly 25 years in the industry (7.5 years in traditional cel animation and 17 years in 3D Animations). He had also dealt with Computer Animation, Traditional Cel Animation (Hand Drawn), Gaming Animation, Animation Serials, Animation Commercial Advertisement, and Animated Short Films.  Neelesh was involved in several international projects. With a B.F.A. in Commercial Arts from Sir J. J. School of Applied Arts, Neelesh is a strong art and design professional (Mumbai- India). Sir J. J. School Of Applied Arts is Asia's oldest and most prestigious college, dating back over 160 years. Advertising arts & concepts, Printing, Textile, Fine Arts (Painting), Sculpture, and Architecture, are just a few degree programs offered here. He majored in applied arts (advertising arts and concepts), a five-year program that includes a two-year Foundation Course and a three-year Specialization Course (Illustration, Photography & Typography). His area of expertise is illustration.    

He was interested in Animation, but there were no animation institutes, schools, or colleges in the 1990s. He worked part-time to full-time jobs in Animation Studios available in Mumbai to obtain experience because he came from a middle-class household. It took him eight years to finish his degree, and he finally graduated in 1998. He has received a state art award for 2d design. Neelesh was multilingual, speaking English, Hindi, Marathi, and French. His hobbies include drawing, sketching, character design, tale board, writing stories, reading, and film direction.
