Svetlana Mishra

Svetlana Mishra is a renowned Indian actress based in Dubai. She is an electronics engineer by qualification but chose acting as her career. She quit her job as a software developer & started her career as an actress in 2010. Her career in acting and modeling started in Mumbai, India, which gave her career a boost & she shifted to Dubai in 2015. She had a dream of being a part of the multicultural theatre community which finally came true in 2015, in Dubai. She was able to showcase her talent in two successful full-length plays with two wonderful production groups, “Malhar” and “Backstage.” She was very inspired by her father and had an attitude of never giving up. Her first play was Haye Akhtari, which was shot in Dubai. She has received many awards and recognitions for some projects like Locked which has been awarded as the Best Film of the 48-hour film festival in Dubai. In 2017 she won the Best Supporting Actress Award,2016 for the play “The Old Couple”. She also won the weekly audience choice award for the “Short and Sweet Dubai” theatre festival.
