Tehshin Akhtar is an Indian actress who works in the Assamese film industry. She was born in Shillong in Meghalaya. She is currently living in Guwahati, Assam. Besides being an actress, she is also a singer. She gained her fame from the daily soap Bharaghar. It is a comedy that airs on the Rang Channel. She has also appeared in many Assamese music videos. Her most remarkable one was in the video Savvi Sabarwal’s Parchaiyaan – Nila Nila.
This music video was released in the year 2012. Tehshin also has a YouTube channel where she sings covers of many pop songs. Tehshin also appeared in a cameo role in the Assamese movie Durjan. The film was released in the year 2013.
