Trishna Devi is a renowned singer in the Assamese music industry. She is also known as the “Stage Queen of Assam” and has sung songs for numerous films and Assamese serials. She was born and brought up in Guwahati. She stayed with her family in Hengerabari, near Kali Mandir. Trishna did her schooling at Dispur H. S School. After that, she completed her Higher Secondary in Arts from Cotton College. She continued at Cotton College and completed her Master’s in anthropology from college. She has received many awards. The Gitimalika Award, presented by Doordarshan, was the most memorable. She also received an award from Asam Sahitya Sabha. Additionally, she also received the Governor’s Appreciation Award. Trishna also got the title Moncho Rani. She also has a romantic song collection in the album “Lajuki.”
