Prodyut Kumar Deka is an Assamese Director born on 18th April 1978. He is a renowned Indian film director, screenwriter, and author who is known to be residing in Assam, India. He has worked on famous films like Dhunia Tirutabur, Samiran Barua Ahi Ase, Surjasta, Borosi, etc. From 2016 to 2017, he went on to write fiction. He debuted with the screenwriter and director role in a film, Dhunia Tirutabur (Beautiful Woman).
He made the next film on politics and named the film Samiran Barua Ahi Ase (Return of Samiran Barua), released in 2012. Prodyut’s other films include Surjasta (A Sunset), Borosi (
