Bhaskar Upadhyaya

Bhaskar Upadhyaya is a director, producer, and entrepreneur. He was born and raised in Guwahati, Assam. He went to Don Bosco School in Dibrugarh primarily. Then, he shifted to Delhi for high school and attended Delhi Public School on Mathura Road. He graduated in 2012 from the Manipal Institute of Technology. He did his graduation in Engineering and Computer Science. He started his career as a corporate employee in 2011. And he worked as a Software Developer at Honeywell Technology Solutions. Then, he worked as a Technical Analyst for almost two years at Oracle. In 2014, Bhaskar shifted to Guwahati again and became the Chief Executive Officer of Mantraa Media and Events.

It was an event planning and management firm. He used to manage Corporate, Government, Commercial, Wedding, Entertainment, and Private Events. After four years, he launched his own production house named "Eastern Green Pictures." It is based in Guwahati, Assam. He entered the entertainment industry by setting up this production house. And he produced his first movie, "ULKA." He is also working as a Managing Director at Akreeti Group. He has also worked in the short film "Tez." The movie received the 16th International Film Festival in Jaipur and was officially selected for the 6th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival. It was also exhibited in the "Short Film Corner" selection of the 69th Cannes International Film Festival.
