Unnimaya Nalapaddam is a renowned Indian actor working in the Malayalam film industry. She was born on 26 June 1994 in Kanhagad village, Kasaragod district, Kerala. Her father, Nalapadam Padmanabhan, is the winner of the Central Government Senior Fellowship in Literature and her mother, Shailaja Mathil, served as an Assistant Public Prosecutor. Unnimaya married a sound designer, Charan Vinaik, in the Malayalam film industry. She is the sister-in-law of the famous Indian actress Padampriya Janakiraman. Unnimaya Nalapaddam has always been passionate about dancing and acting.

In her school days, she became the Kala Thilaka and has selected as the best actress at the district level. She also participated in the dance category at the State Youth Festival three times in a row. Unnimaya completed her graduation from Payyannur College at Kannur in English Literature. Later, she joined St. Aloysius College, Mangalore, for her post-graduation. She completed her Bachelor's in Education from Ambedkar College, and she started her career initially as a higher secondary teacher at a school and later as a college teacher. She debuted in the entertainment industry with a Malayalam state award-winning film entitled Amoeba, in 2015, under the direction of Manoj Kana Manoj Kana is an Indian film director, popular amo >> Read More... . In the movie, she dubbed her voice in Malayalam and has released on 22 January 2016.

Unnimaya attended Kannur University Arts Festival in 2015 and has Awarded the Best Actress. She also attended several drama competitions and appeared at Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy. Unnimaya Nalappadam is looking forward to several new projects in the Malayalam film industry.
