Sarita Giri is a Nepali Director and Actress. Sarita is a professional acting instructor and a theatre artist working in the Nepalese film Industry. She pursued her diploma in theatre from Gurukul. She has been a part of many national and international workshops like Alternative Theatre (Prabin Guha, India), Basic Lightening Techniques and Design (Mariana, Norway), Physical Theatre (Steve Clorfein, New York Click to look into! >> Read More... ), Puppet Theatre (Anna Sobel, Philippines). Sarita started to work as an actor in theatre soon after she got her SLC. Working as a theatre artist was never her dream, but, after getting a lot of appreciation from the public for her first performance, she decided to continue working in theatre as an artist.

She has been featured in many of Nepalese movies such as Machha Machha in 2019, Aama in 2020, Kopila in 2020, Lappan Chhappan 2 in 2020 and more like Acharya, Gurudakshina, Kashmari galbandi, Bina Karan, Padmani Kagaj Patra, and Nagarike. Her latest short project Maya’s husk husband has gained a lot of praise from the audience. She has also been Awarded Best Actor (Female) in Dcine Awards for her role in the movie Gurudakshina.
