Australian model & actress Kristina Akheeva was born in Khabarovsk, Russia to a Russian mother and a Russian-cum-Tajikistani father on November 1st 1986. She migrated to Australia when she was of age 7. She completed her schooling and stayed there till she was 17. Soon afterwards, she flew to Melbourne for pursuing her career in acting. During her initial years at Melbourne, she had been approached by many photographers who had offered her modeling contracts. However, at that time she only wanted some nice pictures of herself clicked.

Only after she was offered a legit contract by a Singapore agency did she become serious about modeling and began a full time career in it. She spent the next 5 years as an International Model travelling various countries. During this time she also had the privilege to work alongside Shah Rukh Khan. She was known as the face of famous FMCG brands like Sunsilk, Palmolive before she decided to take a break from modeling.

She debuted in Bollywood film industry as the lead actress opposite Sunny Deol in the second installment of the movie “Yamla Pagla Deewana”. Being an Australian Actress she is not so comfortable with Hindi Language. It is quite challenging for her and she hopes to be better at it. .While on a break from modeling, Kristina made her debut in the Telugu film industry with her role of Parineeti in the movie “Galipatam” and recently made her debut in Kannada film industry too portraying Lakshmi in the film “Uppi 2”.

Currently she is 27 years old measuring 5’7” in height and residing in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Besides being a full time model and actress, Kristina is also a trained salsa dancer and loves travelling. She is still a new face in the Indian Film Industry. We cannot wait to hear and see more of her
