Sebastian PC 524 is a cop thriller scripted and directed by Balaji Sayyapureddy. The film has Kiran Abbavaram, Komali Prasad, "Nuveksha," Aadarsh Balakrishna, Raja Vikram, “Rohini,” and Srikanth Iyengar in prominent roles. Sidda Reddy, Jayachandra Reddy, Pramod, and Raju produced the film. Mohamaad Ghibran composed the music. “Raj K Nalli” cranked the camera, and Viplav Nyashadam edited the film.

Sebastian is a sincere police constable. He has night blindness and hence escapes from night shifts. However, Seba had to work on night shifts, and one night on duty, his fate goes against him. During his duty time, a woman was murdered. Following certain incidents, he gets a suspension order. Sebastian decides to investigate the murder case and prove his mettle. Was he able to solve the case? The rest of the film deals with this.

Star Performance

Kiran has done his part well. Raja Vikram and Srikanth Iyengar had given their best. Nuveksha didn’t get a solid role. So do the roles of Rohini and Adarsha Balakrishna.

The story is exciting, and the actors are talented. But, the screenplay and execution lack a grip that spoiled the entire hard work. If the screenplay had been better with some edge-seat thrills, the audience might have been impressed. However, the film has some exciting moments too. The BGM is one of the biggest pluses of the film. The camera works are good, and the editing is okayish.

What’s There?

  • The stars’ performances are good
  • Technically the film is sound

What’s Not There?

  • The movie lacks gripping sequences
  • Some stars are not given solid roles

Though it is his debut film, the director tried his best. With some good performances, the film is watchable once!
