Raja Vikramarka is an action entertainer scripted and directed by Sri Saripalli. The film has Karthikeya Gummakonda, Tanya Ravichandran, Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Sudhakar Komakula, "Pasupathy," Dayanand Reddy, Harsha Vardhan, Jabardasth Naveen, and Gemini Suresh in the cast. Rama Reddy produced the film. Prashanth Vihari composed the music. PC Mouli cranked the camera, and editing is by Jesvin Prabu.

Vikram is an NIA officer. He is on a secret mission to save the state Home Minister from his enemies. While on his mission, he falls in love with the Minister's daughter, Kanthi. During an interrogation, Vikram and his team kill one of the most wanted criminals. What happens next? Was he able to answer his superiors? Was he able to save the Home Minister and his family? What happened to his lady love? All these form the rest of the plot.

Star Performance

Karthikeya's performance is terrific, and his physique is a perfect fit for the cop role. Tanya is a template heroine. Sai Kumar and Tanikella Bharani did their roles convincingly.

The directors will make the script fresh with an engaging screenplay and narration if the script is not new. But, that's not the case here. The film comes with the same old style of falling in love with the heroine and the mission to save her and her family. Even the climax didn't impress. However, the director has shot a forest scene interestingly. The BGM and cinematography are pretty decent.

What's There?

  • Performance of the stars

What's Not There?

  • Same old script and screenplay
  • Logical loopholes

With a handful of good actors, the movie team should have tried something better. If the script and screenplay had been better, the actors' performances could have got justice.
