Hero is directed by M Bharath Raj. The film has Rishab Shetty, Ganavi Laxman, Ugramm Manju, Pramod Shetty and Manjunath Gowda in the main roles. “B. Ajaneesh Loknath” composed the music. Besides playing the lead role, Rishab Shetty produced the film. Arvind Kashyap cranked the camera and Prathik Shetty edited the film.
A mafia gang leader’s wife is the ex-lover of a barber. Angered by her behavior, the barber plans to kill her. So, he goes to her residence. Nothing happened as he planned. But, he gets caught in some unwanted things and struggles to find his way out. What happened to him? Did he manage to come out safe? What happened to his ex-girlfriend? The rest of the plot deals with these.
Rishab is excellent and he impresses the audience with beautiful emotions and body language. Ganavi makes her silver screen debut and has done justice to the given role. Pramod Shetty and Manjunath did what is asked.
The dark comedy entertainer is a well-cooked food with essential ingredients. The characters are written well and the stars are placed rightly. Bharath makes a stunning debut as a director and receives appreciation from the audience. With the neat black comedy script, one could not control the laughter. The first half is neat and impressive and the second half comes with some good sequences and comedy. The music composition by Ajaneesh is just fantastic and so does the cinematography by Arvind Kashyap.
What’s Not There?
Rishab Shetty rocks once again as an actor with his natural performance. The film is really a fun-filled ride and can definitely be suggested!
