Nidhi Uttam is one of those popular, pretty faces that everyone wants to see more of on Indian television. She has bagged quite a few important and popular projects and thus has earned a lot of fame.
Nidhi played a significant role in the TV soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The series beautifully captures the happenings in the life of an Udaipur family and the journey of Akshara, the obedient daughter. In spite of it being a huge cast, Nidhi left her distinguished mark for the viewers with her acting skills.
Before that, Nidhi has been a part of the big budget Balaji Televisions project Kasauti Zindagi Ki. She only joined the show after it took a huge generation leap. She played the role of Tara Bajaj, the granddaughter of Prerna and Mr. Bajaj. Getting to be a part of an important series early on in the career indeed played a significant role in life.
She dropped the serious face of Tara Bajaj, and joined Chaalbaaz No.1 as a contestant and made people laugh with her pranks and jokes. She also stars in Life OK’s Ek Boond Ishq which revolved around the ideas of marriage, prison and a disguised identity.
In 2013, Nidhi married Mohit Pathak in a grand ceremony where the entire team of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was present.
