Nicole Alvares

Nicole Alvares is an Indian choreographer and model who is famous for her stint at the Sony Entertainment Television reality show. Nicole was a choreographer at the JhalakDikhlaja - Dancing with the Star competition. She is a trained dancer who has showcased her variation of dancing talent through her many distinct performances.

She was the part of the reality show for three consecutive years and was approached for the fourth time but things didn't materialize because of her other work commitments. Her choreography came under the scanner as it attracted many controversies with her dance partner. The show is mainly focused on the theme that a professional dancer has to dance with a celebrity or star and perform on stage to win the competition.

JhalakDikhlaja first started on the Sony Entertainment Channel but was later aired on the Colors Network due to several reasons. Since the BBC production show, changed its network there has been a total of 5 seasons add to the previous 4 seasons.

Nicole was part of the first three seasons. The inaugural season of the British based reality show saw her partnered alongside Sanjeev Kapoor. She choreographed the dance performances with Sanjeev Kapoor who is an established chef and television cook show host and judge.

They got unfortunately eliminated early from the show. Overall they finished at 6th place out of the 9 contestants. JhalakDikhlaja is based on a BBC network produced dance show named 'Strictly Come Dancing'. During the second season, she was partnered alongside television and movie actor Ronit Roy.

Luck again wasn't on her side as both she and her partner had to come back home after finishing again at the 6th position overall. The third installment saw her being associated with loads of controversies and media attention because of her alleged relationship with her celebrity partner on the show. She was the choreographer for television industry heartthrob Karan Singh Grover.

Karan was fresh off from the completion of his successful daily soap called "Dil Mil Gaye" and was then married to Shraddha Nigam. rumors quickly surfaced on the gossip columns about the affair between Karan and Nicole when he was married. This led to a divorce between both him and Shraddha Nigam. The alleged couple then publicly acknowledged there relationship status but things didn't work out well for long.

Nicole and Karan went their separate ways after they broke up after a couple of years of their relationship. Nicole Alvares is an extremely talented choreographer but her off-screen controversies shifted the focus from her immense skill.
