Umeed is a Pakistani serial that premiered in 2017 on Geo TV. The serial focuses on the life of Umeed as she experiences many hardships as a child. Umeed is a young child who is very close to Zainab, her mother. Saleem and Zainab belonging to a lower-middle class family are finding it challenging to fend for their daughter’s upbringing. The story escalates when Zainab finds herself in an unexpected situation where her husband is stereotyping their family because of their financial condition. Zainab wants to save her marriage from falling apart and at the same time wants to make her family’s financial condition better.

Umeed is an Urdu-language serial that is based on the hardships faced by Umeed and her mother. The serial presents strong females who face their problems and get back stronger.
