Sipahi Maqbool Hussain Urdu TV SERIALS on TV One

Sipahi Maqbool Hussain is a patriotic Pakistani biopic miniseries simultaneously aired on PTV and TV One on April 20, 2008. Brigadier Syed Mujtaba Tirmizi from ISPR and Interflow Communications Limited co-produced the series. Haider Imam Rizvi and Brigadier Syed Mujtaba Tirmizi directed it.

This TV series pays tribute to Sepoy Maqbool Hussain, well-known for his unofficial capture by the Indian army during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1965. He spent 40 years in Indian jails. He was later released as a civilian in 2005 during a prisoner exchange between the countries.

It is the story of Maqbool Hussain with army number 335139. He was wounded in the Indo-Pak War of 1965 and captured by the Indian army. The Prisoner of War status was denied to him, which stripped him from certain rights entitled to him. Later, to disclose the secrets of the Pakistani army, he was severely tortured. They even cut off his tongue. However, he wrote Pakistan Zindabad (Long Live Pakistan) with his blood every day. The trauma made him a mentally ill patient for the rest of his life.

This patriotic drama was heart-touching and made its viewers and actors teary-eyed after the last episode.
