The serial is adapted from a novel of the same name by Umera Ahmad. The series is about a young woman, Falak Sher Afgan, a fine art student. She makes a sculpture of a man of her dreams. She falls in love when she finds a breathing manifestation of it in Salman Ansar. Since Falak was born into a wealthy family and is very beautiful, she has never been deprived of anything she wants. She got married to Salman Ansar. But Falak’s happiness was short-term as her husband fell in love with an educated woman, Tabinda. He starts an extramarital affair with her.

Falak decides to meet Tabinda and is shocked when she sees her unattractive physical appearance. She comes back with a broken heart and sees her problem from a different perspective for the first time. She decides to accept the truth of life and ponders over self-discovery. Now, from a luxurious life, she starts to live with simplicity and humbleness. Later, Tabinda leaves Salman and he comes back to Falak. She accepts him again into her life.
