The serial revolves around two individuals and the classic friends to lovers trope. The story begins by portraying two young people named Aslam and Rakshi as friends. They have always been great friends their entire childhood considering they live in the same neighbourhood and have always known each other. When they gradually grow up, Aslam leaves the neighbourhood to live with his uncle and pursue his further studies in Hyderabad while Rakshi stays behind. The years pass by with them being separated from each other.

After a few years, Rakshi’s father who goes by the name of Faiz Ullah marries a woman named Nargis who has a questionable past and is comparatively much younger than him. This leads to the society attacking Faiz Ullah’s life choices and slowly kind of boycotting him, shaming him in the society. Rakshi herself is a bit insecure and embarrassed about the marriage considering Nargis is nearly her age and is younger than her father. Also the thought of the uprising in the neighbourhood against her father scares her for the well-being of the family. When the neighbours led by Aslam’s elder brother Akram assemble before Rakshi’s house and order her father to leave the town, he refuses leading to the angry mob throwing stones at their house.

Luckily, Aslam had returned in the neighbourhood as well and it doesn’t take him much time to analyse the whole ordeal. He goes over and defends Rakshi as a dutiful friend and saves her and the family from the angry mob. When his true feelings towards Rakshi surface a beautiful love story begins. Whether both the individuals have a beautiful and happy ending even with all the drama in the families is what constitutes the rest of the episodes.
