The series revolves around a married woman who filed for divorce without telling anybody the reason behind her decision. The series backdrop was Istanbul and Karachi.

Sharmeen, nicknamed Kukki by her husband, is a devoted wife, a good mother, and a brilliant homemaker. She lives happily with her husband, Adnan, and her two children, Hamna and Fahad, in Istanbul. One day, she learns about her husband’s infidelity. Since everyone is busy, she embarks on a journey to Pakistan alone. There, she was supposed to meet her sister but disappeared suspiciously.

Her family filed her missing complaint with the police, and her husband also flies to Pakistan. Everyone concluded that she had run away with Aziz. Aziz loved Kukki, but she was more interested in Adnan. However, they still maintain a good friendship because his sister is Kukki’s friend. Adnan visits Aziz in hopes of finding his wife but finds nothing. Aziz was preparing for his wedding at the time.

Eventually, Kukki returns on her own accord but remains tight-lipped about her disappearance. Adnan also visited her with his parents, but she refused to look at him. Later episodes showed that she lived with her aunt Safina and returned to her house after spending some time with her parents. Her father was a conservative man who did not allow her to fulfill her dreams, which left her feeling trapped. Adnan also returned to Turkey but kept trying to resolve the matter.

Kukki started working as a teacher in a school and is upset because her children never tried to contact her. Aziz called off his engagement to help Kukki. Due to his assistance, she was able to start a food service and decided to file for legal divorce. However, she did not tell anyone about the reason for this big decision. Later, her father offered support, as he did not want to repeat his previous mistakes.

Kehkashan meets Adnan and reveals that her husband divorced her after learning about their affair. She proposes to him, but he declines, stating that he still loves the mother of his children, Kukki. Kehkashan reveals that Kukki once confided in her that she could not do certain things for Adnan, which resulted in his infidelity. Now, Adnan vehemently asks for forgiveness from Kukki. Her final decision unfolds at the end of this intriguing series.
