Zoya (Madiha Imam) is a simple, naïve, and poor college student. She lives with her mother, Shireen, and aunt, Naseem. Her cousin, Arsal (Asad Siddiqui), likes her, while Zoya always brushes off his advances. Zoya started feeling insecure when her college friends teased her for not having a boyfriend and a luxurious life. Driven by insecurity, she creates a fake social media account showing herself leading a luxurious life. She also befriended “Pretty Neha” on Facebook. 

Unbeknownst to her, “Pretty Neha” is a guy named Junaid (Mikaal Zulfiqar), who kidnaps rich women with the help of his friends and extorts money from their families for ransom. His father, Saleem, owns a factory where Shireen works. Saleem likes Shireen. However, she never reciprocates his feelings. On the other hand, thinking of Zoya as a rich woman, Junaid as “Pretty Neha” invited her to meet her. Seeing Junaid and knowing the truth of his identity, Zoya tries to leave in anger, but he kidnaps her.

After that, Zoya remained a hostage of Junaid and his friends for two days. Later, they also realized that she was not a wealthy woman. Junaid’s friends tried to rape her, but Junaid beat them up and rescued her. Junaid takes her back to her home, and Zoya curses him to get punished for all his sins. Since Zoya was missing for two days, people became suspicious of her character and started questioning the family. Due to this, Naseem had a heart attack and died. This incident forced the mother-daughter duo to live with Saleem, resulting in the marriage of Shireen and Saleem. At her stepfather’s house, Zoya reunites with Junaid. She also meets his younger sister, Naila, who dislikes the mother and daughter.

Naila also has a cousin, Sikandar, coming down from Dubai to marry her. However, when he sees Zoya, he starts liking her instead, angering his mother. Arsal also extends his marriage proposal to Zoya with the help of his family. Zoya agrees to marry Arsal, which visibly upsets Junaid, as he also starts liking her. All the friends of Junaid attended the engagement ceremony of Zoya and Arsal. They embarrass Junaid in front of everyone by asking for money from Arsal. Later, they even kidnapped Zoya again. Junaid was able to locate her and beat them up before rescuing her. 

Now, Arsal asks Zoya to explain why she got kidnapped twice. It made her angry, and she broke off their engagement. Then, Shireen asks her how Junaid knew about her whereabouts. To which Junaid confessed to kidnapping Zoya. Later, police came and arrested Junaid after the complaint of the fathers of his friends. It made him confess his crimes, shocking everyone. Shireen then reprimands her daughter for not telling her the truth sooner. Zoya replied that this truth might have broken off the marriage of Shireen and Saleem, leaving them homeless again. 

After learning the truth, the mother of Sikandar and Naila started treating Zoya nicely. Saleem goes to jail to meet with his son. Junaid assures him that he will endure his punishment no matter what. So, after his jail release, Junaid begged for forgiveness from Shireen, and she readily forgave him. He also learned about the arrival of Zoya from her job in Islamabad and left. 

When it is time for Zoya to leave, she has no choice but to return with Junaid. On the way, Junaid asks if he could marry her, and Zoya asks if he would have married him if he was in her shoes. He replies no, implying that Zoya wants to stay independent and does not want to get married. Finally, Zoya leaves the car and moves towards her girl’s hostel, leaving him heartbroken and drenched in rain.
