Neeli Chatri is a Pakistani serial that premiered in 2015 on ARY Digital. It is an Urdu-language serial. The serial focuses on Jina and Nilofer as they live by the side of their owners, Naziya and Tahir. Jina is a maid accompanied by Nilofer, her daughter, fondly referred to as Nilo or Nil in the serial. The mother-daughter duo work in the house owned by Tahir, a business tycoon and Naziya, his wife. Neeli Chatri considers the aspiration of a home to help one become wealthy like their owner. The narration takes a hilarious turn due to confusion. Jina is a very polite and hardworking woman; however, her daughter is clever and aims to become rich like her owner. Naziya takes care of Nilofer as her child and motivates her to study. This gives Nilofer the privilege of not doing household chores. Jina is burdened by the work given to her on behalf of Nilofer. As Jina battles with old age, she gets lazy and doesn't complete the household chores.

Upon her owner's absence, Nilofer wears Naziya's hair wig and acts like her. Jina naively accepts this behavior on the pretext of her daughter wanting to live a prosperous life. Nilofer asks her mother to serve her the orange juice that Naziya, drinks daily. The story escalates when Zahid, a relative of Naziya visits the house. Since he's a distant relative, he doesn't know about the maids. Jina and Nilofer use this situation to their advantage.

They disguise themselves as relatives living in Naziya's bungalow for the time she's away from home. Mrs. Kaleem is another character who takes the serial on a hilarious front. She's a neighbor who enjoys eavesdropping at Naziya's home. Since Naziya was visiting her son, who's living abroad and doesn't have a watchman to maintain security for her residence, Naziya tells Mrs. Kaleem to supervise the house as her habit of eavesdropping will benefit in this situation. The serial takes a new turn as Zahid has fallen in love with Nilofer. However, will Zahid still love Nilofer after discovering she's a maid? What will happen next? Watch the serial to find out.
