The series follows the life story of a girl named Mehak. She lives in a conventional family. One day, she gets a chance to study abroad and goes to London for her career. However, this could not change the thinking of her family, who want her to get married as soon as she comes back.

Mehak married Shayan in London, and they have a son named Shahmeer. But her happy life takes a turning point when Shayan goes to Pakistan for some reason. There, his uncle locks him as he wants his daughter to get married to Shayan. Later, when Mehak finds no clue about Shayan, she goes to Pakistan to see him but is unable to do so. Therefore, she decides to take help from her family, but with hiding her son and marriage to them. So, she appointed a woman named Guddi as Shahmeer’s mother, who agrees to spend some time in Mehak’s haveli until they don’t find Shayan. The story shows how Mehak struggles to maintain her happy life by hiding her life events from her conventional family. The series also shows how she finds her husband and tells the truth about her marriage to the family.
