The show was written by Edison Idrees. The show was directed by Atif Rathor and produced by A&F Productions. The show portrays the picture that when a person is destined to achieve greatness no one or no external forces can easily hinder anyone from reaching their destination. The episodes in the show sold this concept very well, though the show proved to be a pleasant surprise and also lifted the plot. These elements were necessary as the story was meandering at a plodding pace. The storyline is based on a young lady named Zara and she is the central character of the story.

Her family is searching for a groom. The show portrays the generational difference between the older and younger generations, societal expectations, and also the urge of a young woman to be independent in society. The story starts with a conversation between Zara and her mother about a suitor. Zara's mother is forcing her to see some suitors and as the woman she is Zara is resisting all the things that her mother is saying. Zara says that she is more focused on her career and her self-development and only considers reaching out for marriage after these elements are fulfilled. Zara has a deeper view of life, in her viewpoint, every woman must work and live independently before settling for marriage. She considers this not only for financial independence but also for various cases like divorce and widowhood.

Zara's mother is very much concerned about her future and she feels the pressure exerted by society to get Zara married. Zara's mother also fears that Zara has an outspoken nature and strong opinions and this kind of behaviour may scare off good suitors and worries Zara's mother the most. We can see the generational difference here Zara's mother was the typical mother in a middle-class family and Zara has much forward-thinking thoughts of an independent woman. The story takes a shift as the potential in-laws come to visit Zara and her family. As unexpected as it was, everyone was shocked to see Zara's behaviour. She asks directly, many questions about the job, financial position, and living conditions of the boy who came. Zara's upfront nature and the questions and desire for her to be treated equally in a relationship made the potential in-laws feel awkward. This type of Zara's behaviour caused a screen and her aunt told her to behave appropriately and that the girl had to be added to the in-law’s lifestyle. As defense, Zara says, in a marriage, understanding, and respect show mutual and contribute from both sides, not just the girl's side. In this whole scene, Zara's mother apologizes and smoothing the scene to reduce the embarrassment created by Zara.

Zara's mother smoothened the situation by saying that Zara was highly pampered after her father's death and this pampering led to her outspoken behaviour. Even after Zara's mother makes a huge effort, it can be seen that the potential in- laws are not at all happy by the behaviour of Zara. In the next situation, we can see that Zara is cooking and we can see that she is excelling in the cooking competition. In the next scene, we can see that a student rival has violated the law and sabotaged Zara by over-salting Zara's dish. Yet Zara won the competition and it was a great victory. That victory showed the talent and strength of Zara. There is also another story that involves Zara's brother and his name is Hassan. He is secretly married to a girl named Nisha. Hassan thinks that his family may not like Nisha though he keeps the relationship a secret. As we can see Zara and Hassan we can see what the young people are going through and how tough it is to balance their choice and their parent’s choice.

Then we can see that Zara is having a conversation with her friend and is also supporting Zara. The friend suggested that she should work hard and focus on her studies to go abroad for some years to save money from there and only consider marriage after that. This advice gives more life to Zara as it is the exact thing she dreams about herself. Zara is a strong person and she sticks to the choices she makes her choices are only based on her beliefs, not forced choices. She always questioned the traditional norms about everything, about marriage and what are the roles assigned to a woman who is being married, the roles society imposes upon women. Zara is solely a representation of a new generation of young women. A woman from Pakistan and a woman who can make her own decisions in life and live her life happily. Zara has a correct view of her marriage and her career
