The drama started with the character of Raza, played by Farhan Ali Agha, a feudal lord in an old territory of Nawabpur in Pakistan, who was the emotionless, but loving brother of his only sister Samina.

Their father was no more, and they had only their mother to look after. They are rich, powerful, and living a luxurious life. Samina lived in a hostel and was completing her graduation. Samina was in a relationship with Irfan, the brother of Swaleha, played by Arij Fatima. Irfan and Swaleha belonged to a middle-class family, and Irfan was only a bank officer; he knew that he could not afford the luxurious lifestyle of Samina, but he still reciprocated her love. On the other hand, Raza is attached to his cousin, Syeda, and wants to marry her, but also he used to visit brothels as it became a necessity for him later on. After all the differences, Raza agreed to the marriage proposal of Irfan on the condition that Irfan’s sister Swaleha would be his wife; he thought that in this way, his sister would be safe. Then both marriages happened, but they lived a very complicated life with each other.

Irfan and Samina loved each other, but after marriage, they never stopped fighting as there was a personality clash; Samina was unable to adjust to the mediocre lifestyle of Irfan and never respected his family as she belonged to a lavish family. On the other side, Raza is still hanging out in the brothels leaving Swaleha in home, that cares for his mother a lot. Samina and Irfan divorced at the end, and Samina became a patient with a mental disorder patient. Also, Raza became paralyzed and realized that whatever he had done was wrong with Swaleha.
