Khanabadosh was a 2014 Urdu-language televised drama on TV One. Online viewers can watch bits and parts of the drama on YouTube. Gold Bridge Media and Abid Ali Productions co-produced the series. Khanabadosh narrates the story of a young man who had lost his loved one. He translates his sorrow into lovely melancholic tunes on his guitar. On one of his visits to the Kashmir valley, he falls in love with a simple girl. However, their love story faces several problems, including the condition of the place they reside: filled with militants, the sound of bombings, and the smell of death. The 20-episode show passes along a worthy social message besides the fact that it is essentially a romantic drama.
