The show revolves around the subject of domestic violence.

The story revolves around two best friends, Arzoo and Kiran, also paternal cousins. Arzoo belongs to a wealthy family and loves her maternal cousin, Sikandar, in contrast to Kiran's cousin Adnan, who likes her but isn't able to propose to her for marriage because of his poor financial status. Sikandar met Kiran at Arzoo's brother's wedding and fell in love with her. He insisted his mother take the marriage proposal to Kiran's house. This decision of Sikandar creates a dispute in the families, and Arzoo breaks his friendship with Kiran and envies her. Kiran and Sikandar got married, but soon after, they started fighting over small things.

Sikandar used to abuse her, and even her mother-in-law used to scold her for her outspoken nature. Lately, Kiran was beaten by Sikandar, which led to her miscarriage. Sikandar apologizes to Kiran, but Kiran is firm on her decision to divorce him. Sikandar had to divorce her unwillingly. After Sikandar's divorce, his mother got him married to Arzoo. Arzoo was happy with the marriage but was confused about his feelings for his ex-wife. Adnan's sister got married and stayed with her mother as her husband went abroad. Now, Adnan tries to convince his mother of his marriage with Kiran. Adnan's mother was unhappy with his decision as she didn't want a divorcee to be her daughter-in-law. After having so much chaos in both families, Adnan was able to please everyone and had a simple wedding with Kiran. Sikandar's jealousy makes him angry after hearing the news of Kiran's marriage, and he starts yelling at Arzoo. Arzoo left the house. After some time, Sikandar asks Arzoo to pardon him and gets her back to his home. Arzoo was soon blessed with a baby boy.

Adnan and Kiran mostly indulged in their fights. Even Sikandar's behavior was becoming abusive towards Arzoo, which forced her to think about the decision Kiran took for a divorce from Sikandar. One day, Kiran and her sister-in-law bump into Sikandar in the market. Sikandar confesses his true feelings for Kiran and also assures her of giving a divorce to Arzoo. Kiran slapped Sikandar and accused him of never respecting women in his life. Sikandar realizes his mistake and asks Arzoo for his forgiveness. In the end, Adnan and Kiran are happy as they are expecting a baby. Arzoo clears up everything and apologizes to Adnan and Kiran for her bad behavior towards them.
