Kheench Ke Ye Aanchal is a Pakistani serial that premiered in 2020 on Apna TV. Later, it was distributed on Atrangii TV. It is an Urdu-language drama serial. It begins with a married couple walking in their home. Maha is a young beautiful girl who belonged to a lower middle-class family. Maha had two sisters and one brother. She was grateful to have been married in a wealthy household. Maha’s husband loved her and respected her boundaries for intimacy and slept on the couch after drinking the milk prepared by his sisters. Maha’s brother loved her, but his wife was envious of Maha. It was Maha’s brother who sheltered her after her parents. Maha was accustomed to household chores by her brother’s wife. She was accountable for taking care of her brother’s children and preparing food for the family. Maha’s life changed when she was introduced to her neighbor.

The neighbor fell in love with Maha’s beauty and found ways to interact with her. Eventually, Maha fell in love with him under the nose of her sister-in-law. In the day, they used to share a chat over tea and at night they spent time together on Maha's terrace. The story escalates when Maha finds herself in an uncomfortable -position where her husband died on the nuptial night. The sister finds out about the incident and calls her mother. Maha’s mother-in-law blames her for the murder of her son. She hands over Maha to the Police and grieves for her son's death. Maha's brother is keen to bail her out; however, he is unable due to his family conflicts.

Maha is left alone in the jail to rot. She remembers her memories of her love affair with the neighbor. She wanted to get married to her neighbor; however, due to classism, she wasn't allowed to choose. Maha was married off by her sister-in-law to a wealthy family because of Maha's beauty and kind demeanor. Maha blamed herself for the death of her husband and wondered if she was alone in the world. She was hopeful that her father and brother would bail her out. She has long lost faith in her father and brother because of the slave life she had lived at the hands of her sister-in-law.
