Ali and Alizeh were best friends, and Neha was a friend to them. They always loved each other silently without telling. Seeing the situation one day, Ali's mother (Shamim Hilaly) suggests to Ali that he should marry Alizeh. After some time, Ali agrees to this marriage happily. Later, he tells Neha about the suggestion given by his mother, but he does not mention the girl's name.

Alizeh found out about the marriage plans and became angry. Simultaneously, Neha discovered that Ali intended to marry Alizeh. Alizeh’s annoyance grew as she believed Ali was only her best friend, and she started avoiding him for a few days. One day at the office, Ali confronted her about her behavior, and she revealed that she didn’t want to marry him, shouting about how marriage shouldn’t come between their friendship.Later, in certain situations, Ali proposed to Neha for marriage. Neha, who had secretly been in love with him all along, accepted the proposal.

Alizeh happily starts making the arrangements for their wedding. On the other hand, Ali comes to know that Neha loved him before, but still, he isn’t enthusiastic about marrying, as he still loves Alizeh. On the night of their wedding, Ali again asks Alizeh to marry him, but she again rejects him. Finally, Neha and Ali get married. Ali and Neha got to know each other very well after marriage and were living happily. However, Alizeh became depressed. She started talking less with everyone and would stay out for long hours, hiding herself from everyone.

Ali comes to know about her situation, but she hides it from him. Later on, Alizeh befriends a person named Farooq Saad, who is her father’s age and has a wife named Parizaad. Alizeh tries to prove to Ali that she can make other friends too. But upon seeing Ali’s behavior, Neha confronts him about why he can’t forget Alizeh. Due to jealousy, Alizeh decides to marry Farooq Saad. Ali confides this to Neha, who tells Alizeh that she is not happy with Ali and to take him. She also expresses her concern, saying that she won't allow Alizeh to marry an older man and ruin her life. Later, Neha asks Ali to choose between Alizeh and herself.

Alizeh discovered the truth about her mother when she proposed marriage to Farood. Her mother and Farood had loved each other when they were young, and now he and his wife were relocating to a new city. Disheartened, Alizeh confessed her love to Ali over a cup of coffee. She left for London the next day, and later, Ali and Neha resumed their happy life together.
