Ideals is a Pakistani TV serial that aired on TV One in 2017. This serial shows how ideal matches mean nothing and the person who feels right should be the one for you. The story is about 3 couples Nida-Khizr, Asfand-Anam and Faraz-Mehek. Nida is married to Khizr but is not satisfied in her married life. She finds Khizr very reserved and boring and when she meets her boss Junaid, she naturally gets attracted to him. This leaves her in confusion and has to make a choice between her husband and her boss. On the other hand Khizr is a professor and one of his students Aniqa likes him but he does not pay much attention to it but once she moves abroad he misses her. Asfand is a party freak who loves to show off his woman to his friends and wants her to dress fashionably and according to him.

Anam is totally opposite to him, she’s a simple and reserved girl who dresses comfortably and does not like parties. They both eventually get attracted to other people. Asfand meets his bold cousin who came from Canada and immediately starts liking her while Anam befriends writer Nafees and thinks of him as her soulmate. Faraz and Mehek are quite different. They seem to be the perfect match for each other. A happy, loyal and loving couple what could go wrong? Faraz gets introduced to Zohaib who shows him about Islam and its beauty. Will it become the cause of their break-up?
