The serial tells the story of Omar and Mohini. Omar is portrayed as a young man born and brought up in a rich and influential family while Mohini is portrayed as a young woman who is brave and kind-hearted. She is born and brought up in a middle-class family and works as a reporter who always fights for the truth. Omar's father, named Rahat Hashmi, is a rich and powerful man who expects his son to obey his every command and act like his word is law. He expects to control his son in each and every step of his life and manages to do so that is until Omar meets Mohini.

Something about Mohini strikes Omar and pulls at his very heartstrings leading him to gradually fall in love with her personality. As the time flows she returns the feelings. However, the very existence of their love causes many problems for tge both of them considering that they belong to very different status and Omar's father doesn't approve of the relationship. Omar and Mohini both struggle for keeping their love alive and trying to escape the clutches of Rahat and his toxic personality. Omar learns many things being with Mohini and together they overcome many obstacles. Will Rahat ever accept their love and relationship and whether Omar will see the faults of his father or whether Mohini suffer because of her curiosity regarding the truth is what constitutes the rest of the episodes.
