The story is set in Dubai after introducing the audience to a small prologue that was initially set in Lahore.

Hashim is portrayed as a man of immense determination and ambition. He is charismatic and he knows and utilizes this characteristic in many of his plans. He is not afraid to play dirty in order to achieve something he has set his eyes on and this puts him in a different light than other people. The audience begins to grow a love/hate relationship with this character in particular charmed and disgusted by his charisma and actions simultaneously. Hashim and his friends come to Dubai and gradually progress to make money and become successful in a short period of time. They wreak havoc on a vast majority of people and abuse them for their own personal gain and cash.

However, this does not mean that they haven't got any humanity. Hashim and his friends always help the people who are in dire need of it hence acting like Robin Hood for some of the people.
