The series starts with Iftikhar. He has migrated from Pakistan to Canada. He is a Minister of the National Assembly in Canada. His family includes his wife, Shamin, son, Nadir, and daughter. They lived a lavish life in Canada. They had all the luxury in the world. They lived happily until one day, Iftikhar was caught in a big scam. He was blamed for having siphoned off 90 crores. Although he did not commit fraud, he was fired from his position on the charges of corruption. He became infamous in Canada. It became impossible for his family to live there. The citizens were disrespectful to them. They decide to return to Pakistan. They had no money left with them. They returned to Pakistan and found a small house in a quiet town.

Reaching there, Iftikhar realized that the news of his corruption had reached Pakistan too. He was recognized by his neighbors as his photo was published as a corrupt officer on the front page of all newspapers. Surprisingly, his neighbors were amused by him and did not hate him. Some were charmed because he had been a foreigner while some were amazed that his children spoke fluent English. The neighbors often ask Iftakhar to help them as a man who can accomplish a scam of 90 crore can make anything happen. But the family had always lived a luxurious life and they still wish to. Iftikhar finds new ways to save money while his family finds new uses for the saved money. The neighbors think that they are very rich and Iftikhar and his family do not reveal the miserable situation they are in. To make their life better, Iftikhar tries hilarious and witty ways to make money. In his pursuit, there is always a hint of his corrupted opportunistic personality. Every episode presents a new situation where Iftikhar is caught in a web of bad luck while trying to better his situation. The series is a laughing riot. Every character is quirky with perfect comedic timing.
