Wife Chethilo Life is a game show for couples between the ages of 21 to 35 years. The auditions have occurred at the beginning of the year for the general public to participate.

In each episode, three couples are invited to play. Each couple enters with a bang by giving dance performances to famous Telugu songs. They are placed behind three podiums on one side of the stage. The game has three rounds, and once in between the rounds, the anchor arranges a debate session between the wives and husbands on situations that are generally faced by couples all over the world. The first round is called ‘Yentho Fun’. This round entails fun games. Each couple is allowed to do a task or play a game together. The anchor announces what price will be awarded to the winner before they play.

The winning couple can choose between claiming the prize of getting a hundred points. The second round is called ‘Yendukila Na Karma Kaalipoindi’. This is an elimination round in which one couple will get eliminated. In this round, the husbands stand on the opposite side of the stage facing their wives. The anchor displayed a few video clippings or pictures related to movies on the screen located at the back of the stage. If the wives know the answer, they can press the buzzer. If they answer right, they receive a hundred points. If they answer wrong, they have two options. They can either opt to lose a hundred points or let their husbands get punished in a method chosen by the anchor. At the end of this round, one couple gets eliminated.

If the scores are tied, a tie-breaker round is set up in the form of performing tasks. The third round, ‘Run Raja Run’ is played by the two remaining couples. It is also a buzzer round. The anchor asks the wives a question. If they know the answer, they need to signal their husbands to press the buzzer. The buzzer is set up on a high platform, and the husbands need to race there. Whoever presses the buzzer first gives their wife a chance to answer the question. If they answer right, they get a hundred points, if they answer wrong, they lose a hundred points. The couple with the highest number of points by the end of the third round wins exciting gifts.
