Local Gangs is an Indian reality television show. Reality shows are a type of show in which various participants take part and compete against each other in various rounds. These participants have then scored accordingly to their performance in the respective rounds. The participant with the highest score wins the show and takes home the prize. Some of the most popular Indian reality shows are India’s got talent, Masterchef India, Big Boss, etc. Local Gangs also follows the same traditional format of reality shows. The show selects a certain number of participants after rigorous rounds of the audition. The selected participants are then invited to the show. These participants could either be a whole team of individuals or just a single person. These participants now compete against each other by either singing, dancing, or stand-up performance. Their only aim is to impress the judges and take higher points than other people. The one with the highest score at the end wins the show irrespective of the art form they take.
The show is hosted by the popular Telugu actor and anchor, Pradeep. He is mostly known for anchoring popular shows and appearing in various popular films. The show was hosted by two popular Telugu personalities, Anasuya and Sekhar Master. Both of them are known for their great achievements in media and television. The show featured on the popular Telugu channel, Zee Telugu. After gaining huge ratings on the channel, the show was bought by the OTT platform.
