Popula Pette was a Telugu TV serial that aired on ETV Telugu in the year 1997. A drama serial at its core, the show was about the trials and tribulations of a family. The various family dynamics of typical middle – class were shown. A mischievous child, a grandfather and a busy homemaker, the serial had all the elements of an entertaining TV program. The show was also family-friendly and did not contain any explicit jokes or scenes. There were many humorous scenes as well. In one of the episodes, the child brings his fake parents to meet his teacher in fear of getting a scolding from his actual parents. A very enjoyable show, with each episode being about twenty – minutes long, however, it is no longer aired.
