The story follows Dr. Anand Chakravarthy, a neurosurgeon who finds himself trapped in his mansion with unwanted guests and robbers. Anand's colleague Dr. Misbah shows up with his suspicious wife Fatima. They accuse each other of cheating. Inspector Sivalingam finds organs in Anand's house and questions him, but Anand kills him. Anand's admiring junior Dr. Avinash learns Anand is kidnapping and killing homeless people for research on reviving the dead by recreating memory. Avinash is also held captive. Anand explains he started this research after his wife Sudha died of brain cancer. He plans to revive her in a week by altering her memories.

A power outage allows the guests to temporarily escape before Anand recaptures them. Avinash steals Anand's research and tries blackmailing him, but Anand says the knowledge is all in his mind. The guests try escaping again but fail. After Siva is killed, Padmini hatches a plan to kill Anand. In the darkness, Vaishnavi flees. Months later, Anand visits Vaishnavi, paying her to keep silent. He implies he killed the others for their brains. A mind-altered Avinash realizes Anand spared him and his mother. The paper reports a "memory-altering" success. In summary, a twisted neurosurgeon takes captives into his home to further dangerous research on reviving the dead and altering memories, leading to death and tragedy.
