Paper Cut is a comedy based reality show aired on Captain TV. It is clear from its name the show has something to do with newspapers. It was hosted by two famous VJs of the Tamil industry named Praveenkumar and Alex Raju. The show started in September 2016. Each episode of the show is 22 to 25 minutes long. It was aired twice a week. It aired every Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 to 10 am. In the show, these hosts come on stage with a newspaper. They usually bring a local newspaper that has news related to state and local places in the Tamil language. After that, they read some of the famous and funny news printed in the paper. If they don't get any funny news they read regular news and then make it funny by their comic timing and funny dialogues.
The show was made for fun and harmless laughs. Sometimes they select some political news and then make fun of it. Sometimes they take some political statements as their topic. Very often political people give statements that make no sense at all. After that, these VJs select the statements that are funny and then make it more fun. It is an ideal show for light entertainment and fun.
