Aayirathil Oruvan is a real competitive game show that airs on Zee Tamil. Zee Tamil is part of the Zee network. It provides its viewers with the entertainment pack of movies, programs, and serials. This one of its game shows that telecasts on 09.30 PM of every weekend in early 2012. Subhu Panju hosts the show. In this show, they focus on the dreams of the public. The people from Chennai who needs money to fulfill their needs and goals are the contestants of the show. The channel gives an address to the public, and those who need to participate can contact them. Then the team takes a small AV, which depicts their dream and the contestant's family introduction. Subhu Panju, the host of the show, enters the set through live dance. He then greets the viewers and the studio audience. He presents the AV in front of everyone. He welcomes the contestant of the episode. The contestant reveals the praises of the show. After all, they enter into the game. The team keeps two screens, one in front of the player and one in front of the host.

The team allots only thirteen questions to the player. The player can choose the category from which the thirteen questions come. Each question is for five thousand, ten thousand, fifteen thousand, and so on. It means that if the contestants answer correct the problem worth twenty-five thousand rupees, then he/she owns the twenty-five thousand rupees. After each question, the player should remember their answer to that question. At a particular place, the host leaves a condition that the contestant should answer the question to enter into the next round, which one lakhs. The host gives a few seconds for the players to respond, and when they say the answer for sure, the host locks the answer. If it is correct, then the amount for the question is set for the participant: if it is wrong, they are not taken to the next round, or they can use concessions, or they will move to the next round. In between the question, the host also gives some permissions to the participant like seeing the dream list, using clues, exiting the puzzle, etc. The dream list is nothing but that is the participant’s answer to the questions. When the participant cannot answer any question or loses the game in between, the host asks the player to list the answers.

For participant’s every solution in the list, the team locks them. Depending on how many right answers they give, the host calculates the percentage. This percentage is the prize amount they take from the amount they won. Here is a chance for them to make more money if they answer the dream list correctly. At the end of the show, the host gives the prize amount, calculated through the percentage, to the player. In late 2013, the team turns the show into a celebrity game show. Mantra is the host now. She invites the celebrities and releases the theme of the episode. The description is the category of the questions for that day. Here, the team gives the hero a screen to display the puzzle. They also call five public people, who are well known and answerable for all proposals category, to play against the celebrity. The host conditions the figure that in the first round, the star should play with one, the second with three, and the third with five. It also follows the same rule for questions, prize amount, concession, dream list, etc, as same as the previous version.
