Darius, a Persian King, enters India to conquer India. To save the country, Pauravas and Takshashilas wanted to end their enmity and unite to fight the invaders. So, Bamni, the Puru King, and Anusuya, the sister of Ambhiraj, the Takshashila King, are getting married. Anusuya dreams of uniting India, unlike her brother Ambhiraj, who cares only for his Kingdom. However, Bamni tells Anusuya that he married her to avenge the insult of his elder brother, Shivdutt. Shivdutt was once insulted by Ambhiraj. After knowing this, Anusuya was disheartened. However, slowly, Bamni understands Anusuya. Soon, Pauravas and Takshashilas send Darius out of India. Anusuya becomes pregnant and delivers Purushottam alias Porus. But Darius played in their life again. He influences Shivdutt. Shivdut tries to kill Anusuya and the kid. He throws them into the river. However, Paurava’s Commander-in-Chief, Ripudaman, saves Porus and raises him in the Dasyu Kingdom, which is made up of pirates. Later, Bamni marries Kadika, the sister of Samarsingh, the Pauruva’s general. They have a son named Kanishk.

After 20 years, Porus meets Anusuya, his mother, who has lost her memory. Without knowing her as his mother, he helps her. He meets Bamni and argues for killing his mother, a rumor spread by Darius. Anusuya, who regained the memory, tells the truth to Porus. Bamni imprisons his brother Shivdutt for trying to kill his wife and son. Anusuya asks Porus to send Darius out of the country. As Bamni is under Darius’ control, Porus and Anusuya explain to him the truth and reveal his real face, and soon, Darius is sent out. When Porus was given the Kingdom to rule, Shivdutt and Kanishk were disappointed. What did they do to dethrone him? What is Alexander’s role in Porus’ life? The rest of the story speaks about Porus’ ups and downs.
