Kudumbam United Season 1 is the comedy family drama airs on Vasantham TV. Vasantham TV provides all rounding shows to the viewers. The story revolves around an ordinary Indian family that airs in 2015 on Vasantham TV. It primarily concentrates on the bonding and unity between people that we see in our daily lives. Uthama is a young and charming hero of the serial. The first episode starts when Ramu came out of his work and family in a bad situation. Then he makes arrangements for a garage sale, and everyone was not right with his plan. At this time, someone kidnapped Mangai, and as usual, the kidnapper expects a huge amount from the family. There Mamgai feels relief and tries to escape from the situation. To overcome all this, the family plans to take part in the competition, giving money testing the unity among them. Plotting everything properly and they win the competition. But the CCTV footages reveal the truth. Anil, a good-looking guy, resides next to their unit. Mangai and Manimegalai start noting him with great attention. Uthaya and Sivaji hate the situation and plans to put an end.

When Uthaya’s cousin Pradip visits their home from Australia, Mangai orders everybody to take good care of him. Showing his wealth, he attracts everybody except Sivaji. Loans shark invade their family, targeting their house, but nobody in the home has an unpaid loan. Sivaji tries to raise funds when his Narpani Mandram falls into a financial crisis. Uthaya moves to Bangkok for his friend's party. Kayal brainwashes Manimegalai against Uthaya. Barani, his son, feels depressed as he does not fit for the soccer team in his school. The family members stand by him, and Uthaya arranges captain for his practice. OCD of Manimegalai fall and the family tries to solve it. At the same time, Sivaji wins a huge big amount in the lottery. Except for Manimegalai, everybody dreams of utilizing the money on their side. A suitcase from the roof falls on Sivaji’s head, and he forgets everything, including everybody and everything. Looking at all the businesswomen and inspired by them, Manimegalai and Mangai decide to start their business without knowing anything. When they jump with full force, they face many hurdles surrounding them. Things then go spooky when they feel something unusual in the house.

They also take normal things, artificial abnormal, and Uthaya, with his wife, plans to leave the house with their children. In between all the crises, the couple forgets about the life of Barani, and when they realize they hire a private tutor for him. But Sivaji falls for the tutor, and Uthaya later joins him in the crew. Uthamaraj, Manimegalai’s cousin brother from Malaysia, arrives to visit her. He is fond of movies and tries to surprise the family members with dramatic ideas. Uthaya and Sivaji dislike Uthama staying in their house and interfering in their privacy. Uthaya then came to know the hidden truth about Manimegalai, that she was a classical singer and sacrificed her voice for marriage due to her parents' pressure. Awakened Uthaya works for Manimegalai and plans to make her dream come true. To overcome all depression and lower the workload of Manimegalai, the members hire a maid for the home. But the maid, besides working in the home, forms as a nightmare and frightens everyone. Family members try to hide the stunning truth from Manimegalai. That day they found a baby out of the house. But when she finds something fishy and suspects Uthaya for the happening. On seeing the baby, she pretends that Uthaya is the reason for it, and she also thinks that he cheated on her.

Opposing the situation, looking at the baby's cuteness, she develops an unknown bond with her. Everyone lies in severe shock and tries to find the identity of the baby. They inform all the situation to the police. The family members take the situation in hand and plan to find the suspect. On the next morning, Uthaya forgets their wedding day and moves out. It is unable to tolerate for Manimegalai that he forgets that her husband didn’t wish her made a surprise. But her expectations were extremely high about this day. Uthaya and Manimegalai feel uncomfortable when Barani wishes to have a girlfriend for himself. And Sivaji worries that Mangai is not on her side. Sivaji receives a gift from his great grandfather, and the gift turns to wish-granting. So all members of the family plan some things to make a wish for themselves. At the same time, Barani encounters Bully in School.

Then asks help from his father, Uthaya, to save him from the issue. He also informs that he should speak confrontationally towards Bully. Uthaya does all things favorable to the advice of his because he is not interested in losing his reputation in front of his son. But this creates a problem for both Barani and Uthaya. Uthama finally meets his girlfriend. When he thinks to reunite and rejuvenate the bond, her brother enters the place and turns the situation opposite. Without inferring, his parents arrange his marriage with a girl. He has nothing to do with when they made all the arrangements, including marriage cards.
