Kadamabari is a Tamil series scripted and directed by S PrabhuShankar. It was aired on Jaya TV every Monday to Friday at 1:00 pm.

Nagamangalam is a village where some people are attacked and killed at frequent intervals. People believed that the ghosts were on a killing spree. But, the police department, with the help of a TV channel, recorded a video and found out that it was a group of people who threatened people, and they were appointed by Kamala Bhagavan, a fake godman. After this incident spread widely, an elderly person from Kaathaalpuram visited the DTV’s MD. He requested him to find out the reason behind the kids’ deaths in his town. As per the elderly person’s statement, it was a curse that had been killing young boys aged ten for the past 25 years. None of them know the reason. DTV MD said that he can’t believe curses in this digital world. But the old man, who lost his grandchild, requested him to search for the reasons for the kids’ deaths and save his town.

After his teary request, the DTV MD decides to find out the truth and gets permission from the police department and the Kaathaalpuram Panchayat, along with respective authorities, to research the mysterious deaths. He sends his team of six to the town. A research team of five people, with one manager, visited the town. One of the members of the research team is Ayushmathi, the anchor of their show, Meiyya Poiyya. They meet the elderly person, who met their MD for a solution. He gives her the Kaathaalpuram history book. He also tells the team that Kaathaalpuram was a kingdom ruled by Rushyendraboopathi 200 years ago. Rushyendraboopathi was a cruel king. What happened to him? Who cursed Kaathaalpuram? Will the DTV team find out the truth? The rest of the story deals with that.
