Bharathi Kannamma 2 is the tale of a young girl who has lived away from her family since childhood and wishes to reconnect after several years. The show proceeds with the profound love between Bharathi and Kannamma (Chithra), who secretly tie the knot when his family pressurizes Bharathi into an undesired marriage with Venba. As their families vehemently reject them, Bharathi and Kannamma opt to live apart until his mother acknowledges their union. The TV serial got interesting as they fought to demonstrate their unwavering love for their families. The climax is marked by the revelation of Chithra's true identity as she assumes the role of Kannamma. The makers are in discussions regarding the season 3 of the show.
