The story revolves around the life of Aladdin, a thief. He is in love with the Princess Jasmine of Baghdad. One day, he discovers a magic lamp, and when he rubs it, a bhootham appears. Now Aladdin becomes the master of the Bhootham of the lamp. The plot follows how he fights against the evil Sultan Aiyyar Zafar and Mallika, a wicked witch. They are trying to get hold of the magic lamp and misuse it to control the world.

Alavudeen is a Tamil dubbed version of Aladdin Naam To Suna Hoga. Siddharth Nigam and Avneet Kur play a role as the main leads, Aladdin and Yasmine. The story of this serial takes place in Baghdad. Aladdin is a Black thief and patriotic Young man who lives with his mam, Rukshar. He has had a crush on Princess YAshmin since childhood. His father is a traitor to the city. Since they live a miserable life, his aunty’s Family takes advantage of their helplessness and makes Aladdin a thief, and they treat Aladdin and his mom as his Servant. Aladdin wants to make more money, save his mom from people's bad behavior, and wanted to prove his father’s innocence. Not only is Aladdin patriotic, but Yasmine, despite being a woman, always sneaks out of place and finds bad people on her night out.

She meets Aladdin as a Black thief after his Auty and Uncle, and Yasmine knows Aladdin is a Black thief, but fate starts to play a game. Whenever they meet, they begin to fight. Even though they both fight, their thoughts are always the same regarding their country’s sake. Whenever one meets with a problem, another one comes to their help. Zafar, who is Prime Minister and is also known as a Mutchad country’s villain. But no one knows that Zafar is the Mutchad. Both, Aladdin and Yasmine wanted to capture him. One day Aladdin happens to meet Mutchad, and Mutchad offers him a lot of money in exchange for the powerful Lamp which contains Genie. Aladdin accepts the offer and sets to find the Lamp. On the way, he meets his father, a protector of Genie Omar. They both fight with each other. But Aladdin’s pure heart makes his father realize that he is the one who can own the Lamp and help him to get the Lamp.

He came to know that it had a mighty Genie. Aladdin brings Genie to his home. Genie becomes one of his family members. Aladdin rejected Zafar's offer and decides to keep Genie with him as his brother. Zafar was enraged and decided to get the Genie at any cost. The relationship between Aladdin and Yasmin, his father, and Genie become strong. Zafar made Aladdin release Ring Genie. It created a big fuss and takes the Lamp genie away from Aladdin and converts it into an evil Genie of Zafar. To get back his brother Aladdin falls into Zafar’s plan and scapegoat for King’s killer. Yasmine executed him in front of the villagers. After two years, Aladdin returns as Ali with his few Genie friends. He proves his and his father's innocence and reveals the actual color of Zafar. Zafar is Mutchad. In the battle between them, Zafar dies. Before his end, Zafar releases Malika, the Biggest villain of the era.

Aladdin, Yasmin, and Genei start their journey to kill Malika. They met a twin brother of Zafar. He helped them to end the Malika. But soon after, he told them that he was Zafar and the one whose death was Fazer. He got ultimate power and killed Aladdin and Yasmine and erased their memory for the people of Baghdad. After Some years, Aladdin and Yasmin come again, but they both like each other life. Aladdin is a prince, and Yasmin is a thief. Fate made them meet each other. They both start their travel to Baghdad. But they don't know who they are. Little by little, they got their memory back and Zafar and his misdeeds. Then, they Kill him. The adventure and fantasy things they meet and their Love for each other, motherhood, brotherhood, and friendship are reasons for this serials victory. Alaudeen is one of the most successful dubbed serials in Tamil. The fight scenes, stunts, magic, and Love, made an aroma to this story.
